Itinerary
Day 1.- To begin this experience, we will leave the office or hotel, we will visit the train cemetery located on the outskirts of the city of Uyuni, and then we will go to the town of Colchani, whose main activity is the harvest of salt, where we will visit a salt processing factory, we are already at the gates of the immense salt flat of Uyuni in the first few kilometers we will find the springs and places of salt harvesting and the first salt hotel in the world playa Blanca now an open museum, it is time to travel on the salt highway about 70 km. To visit the Incahuasi island located in the center of the salt flat where we will see immense cacti and Andean vegetation and we will be able to reach the top to appreciate a spectacular 360º view, then we will go to the shores of the Salar where we will enjoy the sunset with wine and snack, accommodation in salt hotels (Palacio de Sal, Luna Salada, Cristal Samaña.), dinner.
Day 2.- With sunrise, we head towards the mining town of San Cristóbal on the route we will be able to observe fields of quinoa and Camelid cattle and then enter the great Andes mountain range, we will see the Valley of the rocks a place full of eroded volcanic formations where your imagination plays with these interesting formations, we will visit the viewpoint of the Ollague volcano, we will advance towards the Cañapa, Hedionda, Chiarkota and Honda lagoons where the flamingos live in addition to being able to appreciate the high Andean flora and fauna such as being Vicuñas, llamas, vizcachas, to name a few, we will arrive at the Siloli desert. Day 3.- Early in the morning, we continue through the Siloli desert to visit the stone tree and then visit the Laguna Colorada located within the Eduardo Abaroa Andean Flora and Fauna National Reserve, home of the Flamingo James. impressive height of almost 5,000 meters above sea level to visit the geothermal field Sol de Mañana, then we will visit the thermal waters of Polques where there are small pools with waters of 37 degrees of ideal temperature for the relaxation of the body then we can see Dalí's desert named for the incredible landscape similar to paintings by the famous Spanish painter Salvador Dalí, continuing on the route we will arrive at the green and white lagoon located at the foot of impressive volcanoes such as Licancabur.
