Itinerary

  • DAY 1.- To begin this experience we visit the train cemetery located on the outskirts of the city of Uyuni where we will find old steam locomotives that were used in the last century and part of it, activating the economy of the region and the country. through the mining of the Huanchaca and Pulacayo mines, then we will go to the town of Colchani, whose main activity is the harvest of salt, where we will visit a salt processing factory and find a small market of handicrafts made of salt and no more!!! We are at the gates of the entrance to the immense salt flat of Uyuni, near the coast you can see the salt hotels, already inside the sea of salt in the first kilometers we will find the eyes of the salt flat and places where salt is harvested and the first hotel in get out of the world white beach today open museum, the famous monument to the Dakar rally and the square of the flags of the world, beware that if you like you can hoist your favorite flag and leave it as a souvenir of your visit, after noon you will have the most surreal lunch of your life in the middle of the immense salt flat of Uyuni, do not forget that any time is good to take pictures if you like you can also bring objects such as toys or souvenirs that you like that are not too small to take photos with perspective, then We head towards the southwest corner of the salt flat where we will enjoy the sunset with wine and snacks prepared especially for you and you will see one of the most beautiful sunsets of your life.   • DAY 2.- After breakfast at the hotel we head towards the mining town of San Cristóbal, which is currently one of the most important silver and zinc mines in the world, therefore it is essential for the economy of the North and South Lipez region. On the route we will be able to observe beautiful quinoa fields that are about to be harvested during the summer season, we will also be able to observe many vicuñas, and then we will enter the great Andes mountain range, we will see the valley of the rocks, a place full of eroded volcanic formations where your imagination plays with these interesting formations, we will also visit the anaconda canyon where it is possible to see the Andean condor, the Valle de Rocas viewpoint that has a peculiar wild west style along a narrow path surrounded by rocks we will arrive at a high Andean paradise called Laguna Catal where we will find llamas, Andean geese, curious vizcachas jumping on rocks and if you pay attention it is possible that Once you see suris and the stealthy Andean fox, you will have a nice walk in this beautiful place, then we will go to Laguna Vinto where you will see Andean flamingos, then we will visit Italia Perdida, a fascinating place part of the valley of rocks that seems to have been a petrified city. After having lived a unique experience, we return to Uyuni at around 6 pm.
